  • Avatar (2009): His initial salary was reportedly $250,000. However, due to the film’s unprecedented success, he is believed to have received substantial backend compensation, potentially in the millions, based on the film’s gross revenue.
  • Terminator Salvation (2009): For a major franchise film like this, lead actors typically command salaries in the low to mid-seven figures.
  • Clash of the Titans (2010): As the lead in another tentpole film, his earnings would have been significant, likely in the multi-million dollar range.
  • Avatar: The Way of Water (2022): With the success of the first Avatar, Worthington’s negotiating power would have increased significantly for the sequel. His salary for The Way of Water would have been considerably higher than his initial Avatar earnings, likely including a substantial upfront fee plus a percentage of the film’s profits.

Beyond acting, Worthington may also earn income from producer credits, as he has occasionally taken on executive producer roles.
