Besides, Hegseth is the co-host of Fox and Friends Weekend and frequent guest-host for FOX & Friends, The Five, Hannity, Ingraham Angle and Jesse Watters Primetime. Hegseth was born and grew up in Forest Lake, Minnestota, USA. He was raised by his parents, Brian hegseth and Penelope Hegseth. Since his days as a young man, Pete has been known to be a conservative.

As a teenager, Hegseth attended Forest Lake Area High School. Upon graduation, he enrolled at Princeton University to study politics. The eminent anchorperson was awarded with a Bachelor of Arts in 2003. Furthermore, Pete received a Masters of Public Policy from Havard University in 2013.

Pete from Fox News started his career as an intern for Princeton Tory, a conservative Princeton University magazine. Upon his graduation in 2003, he became a market analyst for Bear Stearns, an investment banking company. Shortly after, he was recruited to the army as a reserve infantry officer for the army.

Military career

The recognized veteran was first dispatched to Cuba in 2004 and served as a platoon leader. He held the same role when he proudly volunteered to Baghdad but proceeded to Samarra as a civil military operations officer. During Hegseth’s time as a military officer, he has been awarded six war medals and two infantry badges.

Pete Hegseth left his job at Manhattan Institute for Policy Research in 2007 to work at Vets for Freedom. He served as their executive director until the organization dissolved in 2010. For a brief period of time, Hegseth returned to the army as a senior counterinsurgency instructor for the Counterinsurgency Training Center in Kabul, Afghanistan.
