Maria Bartiromo was born on September 11, 1967, to Italian American parents, Vincent Bartiromo and Josephine Bartiromo. She spent her early years in Dyker Heights, New York, United States of America. Maria Bartiromo father was a Rex Manor restaurant owner, and her mother was the hostess and a clerk.

Bartiromo attended a catholic school, Fontbonne Hall Academy in Bay Ridge. She worked at the coat check and as a stock clerk. Bartiromo proceeded to college at C.W. Post and later transferred to New York University. In 1989 she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Economics. She started working on radio as an intern in Barry Farber’s show on WMCA 570.

Bartiromo is well known American television personality featured on CNN, CNBC, and currently on Fox News and Fox Business. She has been a producer and a host. Besides, she once appeared at the New York Stock Exchange. Bartiromo has won 2 accolades for her work. 

CNN 

In 1988, Bartiromo worked for CNN for five years as an assignment editor and executive producer. She worked with Lou Dobbs, who was her supervisor. Besides, she was involved in CNN as a production assistant for Stuart Varney.

In 1993, Roger Ailes hired Maria Bartiromo to work for CNBC to replace Roy Blumberg. She began live reporting on New York Stock Exchange floor.
