Laura Ingraham hosts The Ingraham Angle on Fox News Channel, which airs at 10 PM (ET). She became famous for The Laura Ingraham Show, a radio show where she discussed political events. The show saw her become one of the most-listened-to anchorwomen in political discussions. Ingraham is infamous for her highly conservative views on sensitive issues such as homosexuality, race and immigration in America.

Early life

Ingraham was born and raised in Glastonbury, Connecticut, United States of America. As the only girl among four children, she grew up as an athletic child. Her mother worked as a waitress, while her father owned a car wash business. Laura Ingraham has credited her work ethic to how they raised her.

Education

Laura Ingraham’s education began at Glastonbury Highschool as a teenager, where she graduated in 1981. Afterwards, she attended Dartmouth College to study English Literature. The female news anchor graduated in 1985 with a bachelor of arts. She also went to the School of Law at the University of Virginia and graduated in 1991 with a Juris Doctor.

Upon graduation from Dartmouth College, Ingraham was a speechwriter for Ronald Reagan’s domestic policy advisor for a few years. Afterwards, she went to the University of Virginia, where she worked as a note’s editor for the Virginia Law Review. When the political reporter graduated from law school, she served as a law clerk for Judge Ralph Winter from 1991 to 1992. Laura then worked as an attorney for Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom law firm and appeared in a young conservative’s magazine in 1995.

Ingraham first served as a television host in 1996 on MSBNC. She then became a CBS commentator and hosted the show Watch It!.  In April 2001, Ingraham launched The Laura Ingraham Show, a radio show aired on Westwood One. She moved the show to Talk Radio Network (TRN) in 2004. This saw her launch a very successful career as a radio show host. The show was rated top 5 in America by Talkers Magazine in 2012. Laura Ingraham left TRN in November 2012 after she declined her contract renewal. On January 2013, she debuted the show courtesy of Courtside Entertainment Group.

Together with John Anthony, she founded LifeZette, a conservative website where she wrote articles on issues facing America. In 2018, Ingraham sold the website to The Katz Group, owned by Daryl Katz. The prestigious writer has also authored 5books over 17 years. Some of her books are: –
